Accessing content via LTI

Once you have installed the SHMS LTI tool in your learning management system (LMS), you can seamlessly browse and search for SHMS resources directly in your own system.

1. Click the link as it appears in your learning management system (Canvas, Blackboard, EdX, Moodles, Schoology, etc.) to launch the integration tool
2. Log in: This is only necessary for instructors or admins using the tool for the very first time. After your very first login, your LMS user id and your SHMS user id will be linked, and login will happen automatically.
3. You can access resources in one of two ways:

• Group
1. Click My Groups in your top navigation bar.
2. Click to select a group name that appears.
3. Browse the resources in the subfolders or use the search field to search by keyword(s).

• My Items
1. Click My Items in your top navigation bar.
2. Click to select a folder name that appears.
3. Browse the resources in the subfolders or use the search by keyword(s)
